To Birmingham
Birmingham has three city centre railway stations, providing fast and frequent connections from local and national destinations and airports.

Birmingham New Street Station is at the hub of the National Rail network, with fast and frequent services from London’s Euston station and many other major towns and cities across the UK. 

Trains from London Marylebone are served by Birmingham Moor Street Station (next to the Bullring Shopping Centre) and Birmingham Snow Hill Station (in the Colmore Business District). All 3 stations are well served by public transport and parking facilities.

All three railway stations are within walking distance of thestudio: Birmingham New Street, Snow Hill and Moor Street. New Street Station is just two minutes walk from conference venue.

To Birmingham
There are frequent express coach services to Birmingham from London, Heathrow and Gatwick Airports, as well as many other UK cities.

Birmingham coach station is a short walk from New Street train station. Ask at the coach station for directions to New Street and then either catch the local train service to University station or catch the bus as described below.

Walking from New Street Station and New Street Station Car Park – 2 minutes
Exit the North exit ‘Stephenson Street’ or ‘New Street entrance’ and head up Lower Temple street past Caffé Nero. Turn right at Starbucks and continue down New Street (Tesco on your left). Cannon Street is the second street on the left, thestudio is half way along Cannon Street on the right hand side. See below for our walking video.


Walking from Birmingham Snow Hill Car Park – 5 minutes
Exit the car park down the entrance ramp and turn left onto Livery Street. Continue to Colmore Row. At Colmore Row walk through the Cathedral park to Temple Row. With the CBRE building in front of you take Cherry Street to the left of the building. Just after McDonalds and Greggs turn right onto Cannon Street. You will find thestudio half way down the street on the left.

This is a city centre venue and there is no onsite parking, but we recommend Birmingham Snow Hill Station Car Park, postcode B3 2BJ and Birmingham New Street Station Car Park, postcode B2 4ND. Both car parks are around a 5 minute walk from the studio.

Birmingham’s modern tram system, the West Midlands Metro, is a convenient and efficient way for visitors to explore the city with ease. The tram lines connect key areas around Birmingham, including the city centre and Jewellery Quarter, and extend out to connect to Wolverhampton. The trams use a zone-based ticketing system that gives visitors more flexibility in their travel plans. You can buy single journey tickets, or day passes for unlimited travel within specific zones for a day, a week or more.

Birmingham is a great city to get around by bicycle. Try the cycle route function on Google Maps. Search for your area, hover over “Satellite” at the top right and in the drop-down menu click on “Bicycling” for a map showing off-road trails, bike lanes and bike-friendly roads. There’s plenty of secure cycle parking in the city. Open Cycle Map provides a useful map that allows you to find secure bicycle parking in Birmingham.
