The aim of the 5 Nations Health Protection Conference is to provide a focus for Continuing Professional Development for: Consultants, Specialists, Trainees, Scientists, Practitioners and all colleagues working in Health Protection, Public Health, and the epidemiology and control of infectious, non-infectious diseases, and environmental hazards.
The conference was organised jointly by staff from the UK Health Security Agency, Public Health Wales, HSC Public Health Agency in Northern Ireland, Public Health Scotland and the Health Protection Surveillance Centre for the Republic of Ireland.
The conference addressed important public health issues and provided fresh perspectives on established areas of disease prevention and control.
